Who Can Attend?
If you are experiencing anxiety, postnatal or ante-natal depression (with or without a formal diagnosis), feelings of isolation, sadness, uncertainty or loneliness, please consider coming to one of our Drop In sessions. There you will find supportive and meaningful connections and an understanding support network.
What To Expect
We have a no pressure environment. Whether you want to come and play with your little ones, sit with a hot drink, partake in some mindfulness craft such as adult colouring, or talk about your mental health in a secure group: we are here for you.
Sometimes, the sessions feature special events, such as: hairdresser appointments, manicures, toy swaps, and Mother’s Day & Father’s Day breakfasts.
Online Support
We have closed Facebook groups for each Drop In to co-ordinate sessions, discuss any ongoing anxieties you are experiencing, or connect with people you have met at the session.
Attending for the First Time
If you’re anxious about attending for the first time, you can chat to a Peer Supporter beforehand to discuss any worries. We can also arrange to meet you in the car park so you don’t have to walk in alone.
We ask for a suggested contribution, which goes towards the running cost of the Drop In. However, we strongly believe that finances should never be a barrier for accessing mental health support so, if you are in a difficult financial situation, please contact us to discuss.
