We offer hot drinks, toys, games and activities, in a gentle, safe and relaxed space for your children to play and for you to talk to other mums. We have a no-pressure environment, and here you will find supportive and meaningful connections and an understanding support network. The space is here for what you need - whether you want to come and play with your little ones, sit with a hot drink, partake in some mindfulness crafting such as adult colouring, or talk about your mental health in a secure group: we are here for you.

Abbeymead Church - a cosy and quiet environment in central north Swindon with plenty of free parking outside and bus links close by.

Christchurch Community Centre - a beautiful venue in Old Town, with free on-site parking and bus links nearby. Follow the path alongside the church through the iron gate to the tranquil courtyard and into our private room. Please leave buggys in our courtyard garden or by the main office if buggies are required.

Rachael, Swindon Project Lead

Rachel runs our Swindon courses and Swindon drop-ins. She is Mummy to Lily (4) and Archer (1). Rachael has lived experiences of psychosis and depression, which she says threatened to cripple her. But, when she reached out to Shine, everything changed. “Shine has been invaluable. Not just for the therapeutic opportunities and time with other adults without the children, but also the friends I have made, and the advice and support they are able to give.”

Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.
